In My Mailbox - April 29, 2012

“In My Mailbox” is a weekly event hosted by Kristie at The Story Siren through which bloggers can showcase all the books they’ve received/purchased/absconded with.  I've only got one to my name this week, but one is better than none, right?  That's the answer I'm going with, at least.

Electronic Review Copies

While I'm Still Myself by Jeremy Mark Lane - This collection of short stories was given to my by the author in exchange for an honest review.  I'm not sure when that honest review will be happening, as I'm currently crazy-swamped with review material, but we'll get it done.  Big thanks to Jess at frellathon.com for hooking me up with the author.  She's a good one.  Make sure you check it out if you get a chance.

So now that I’ve shown you mine, its time to show me yours.  What was in your mailbox this week?

    1. Yeah, it really seems to be making the rounds in the blogosphere, doesn't it? We'll see how the book is, but the author is a really nice guy.

  4. I'm looking forward to reading your review of this book. I don't usually read short story books, but after looking at what goodreads says, this one looks good.

No mailbox for me this week. I bought a book, but I'll put it in next week's mailbox.

    1. The ratings on Goodreads can be kind of suspect. I think some of the reviewers there are a little soft with their reviews, but I'm just a cantankerous bastard. I'll let you know if it's good or not.

Oh well. Guess I'll just have to catch up with you the next time around.

  6. Do you ever take part in book tours? Just wondering because I was going to invite you to join in with a publisher I work with assuming you're interested.

    1. Sign me up! Whatever did I do to deserve such patronage? You're not going to need a pound of flesh or my soul or anything, are you?
